• Artist Statement

  This look is part of a four piece collection investigating the symbolism of the color white. ”The Cross” explores how white is used to represent purity and devotion in the religious sense, focusing on catholicism. I drafted the entire pattern by hand and incorporated the cross insignia into the design. This piece was sewn by me using an industrial sewing machine and serger.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity is the freedom to fabric and bring to life original ideas. Creativity is not a skill, or something certain people are born with more of. Every single person on earth has the ability to tap into creativity and express their individual ideas in an artistic form.
