This piece is about being in the moment and being at peace with yourself. I wanted the environment to look peaceful and interact with the character with color and lighting. I used Procreate to draw and paint this piece and used different brushes to convey various levels of opacity in certain areas of the artwork.

Creativity for me is a form of expression that I feel comfortable and content doing. Drawing allows me to tap into my creative side and step away from the many thoughts that run through my head each day. Which allows me to make peace with myself in my daily life.
