Colored pencils

I used colored pencils on toned paper, drawing the shoes I was then using to play for my school team. That was the first year playing organized basketball and it really helped me. I found happiness and something to focus on. These shoes represented hope that I found in that time, and also are shoes from Stephen Curry, my favorite player, which makes it that much more special.

Creativity means finding interesting and in this case visually pleasing ways to express your thoughts and feelings. It also means being able to execute them, adding details, and enjoying the process. This might not align with everyone’s definition but it does mine.
