• Artist Statement

  I took this photo while out with my dad and uncle in the San Francisco batteries. I wanted to capture how graffiti can bring color to an otherwise barren and grey area, while also emphasizing the tight and narrow passageways of the batteries.

• Creative Statement

  I think that the meaning of creativity is simply to create meaning out of something, either from nothing or from something that already exists, and express it in a piece of art.
