I took this picture at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Reserve, a 20 minute drive from the largest airport in the U.S.. The stark contrast between ancient Native land, and modern industrialization is what led me to take this photo. The bison had such a cold stare, what I imagine to reflect it's distaste for the change in the area it's ancestors used to roam. They are the aboriginals of the area. We are just the visitors.
