After the Rain

  • This photo began as an unplanned moment. After a light rain, I noticed a single leaf catching the last light of the day, with tiny droplets still holding on. I liked how something so small and ordinary could look completely different depending on the angle and the timing. I got close to the leaf so the background would fall into a soft sunset glow, and I tried to capture the contrast between the sharp details of the water droplets and the warm, fading light behind them. A lot of my photography comes from noticing small things that are easy to miss. I like slowing down and paying attention to textures, colors, and moments that only last a few seconds. This piece is my way of showing how everyday nature can feel peaceful and almost cinematic when you look closely.

  • To me, creativity is noticing things other people might walk past and finding a way to show why they matter. It’s taking small moments, ideas, or details and turning them into something that feels personal and real.
