This portrait represents the delicate balance between stillness and motion. Throughout my life, I've felt like I'm constantly doing something, and always moving. However, my family has always encouraged introspection: through creative mediums as well as silence. This photo encapsulates the importance of both, as the tense contrast allows for the appreciation of both elements.

To me, creativity is being able to express yourself differently than others. Creativity is taking a risk in order to demonstrate what you know and can do. In this photo, creativity was demonstrated because I expressed a very personal aspect of my family life.
