I write every day. Not for class, not for assigned rubrics– but for me. My collection, “Autopsy of an Artist”, showcases my art style, personal voice, what I’ve been proud of writing to express what I want– and more importantly what I need to. These pieces aren’t inspired by specific moments, but instead are windows into my ranting; raw, inner monologues using my preferred metaphors to explore and process the intricate, often fragile interrelationships humanity creates between conceptual thought and a natural world we cannot control. These convey my observations and obsessions with the complexities of human nature, psyche, and identity; particularly the condition of being human and the mortality of our minds. I find that compounding breaking points and renewal offers a delicious combination of source material from which to draw readers in with impactful imagery, leaving them comforted, confronted, devastated, disturbed, or curious to explore these thoughts themselves.

Creativity is everything to me. It is all that I am, and it influences my daily thoughts, projects, ideas. Creativity is a lifeblood and writing allows for it to flow to the page and express yourself unlimited by boundaries, as there are none in your imagination.
