This piece of artwork was taken in early August of 2025 in Yosemite National Park. I was on a trip with my friends, and early in the morning, we took the drive into the park to Glacier Point, where this photo was taken. Glacier Point is a scenic viewpoint above the valley and overlooks Half Dome, El Capitan, and the surrounding Yosemite Valley. I began to take photos of the valley and El Capitan and eventually moved my way over to Half Dome. I asked my friends to move out of the way and snapped this photo of Half Dome, with the Tuolumne Meadows also featured in the background behind the dome.

For me, creativity through photography is more than simply a practice. I use it as a way to convey my emotions, thoughts, and ideas with other people when I have difficulty expressing myself with words.
