• Artist Statement

  A short stop motion animation film illustrating a swordfight between two stick figures. What began as a school assignment soon became a personal project that I would dedicate my month to. Stop motion animation was the perfect medium to express my love for choreographed yet flashy fights as an amateur filmmaker. I tried to implement as many of my favorite elements in action films as possible, from incorporating various shot angles to impact frames. In addition, I carefully posed the stick figures frame by frame to create an expressive and smooth motion conveying the intensity of each scene.
