I took this picture on a flight from New Zealand back to California. When I first looked out of the window, I thought that it was just a clear day out, then I looked down and noticed just how high above the clouds we were. It looked so surreal, how the clouds spread across the sky in endless paths, making it look as if you could just land right on top of them if you fell. I’ve always been very interested in the vastness of things like deserts, mountain ranges, space, etc, and just looking back at this photo just gives me a feeling that I can’t really explain. Seeing how the clouds seem to stretch into an endless blue void and there not being any other distractions in the sky just gives me such a trippy feeling. Just goes to show just how big this “small” world really is.
