• Artist Statement

  I’m very inspired by quilts and textile art, and this came from my childhood obsession with prairie life and Laura Ingalls Wilder. This piece also feature aspects of my home and identity like Mount Tam in the background and claddagh rings.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity to me means not limiting yourself to one thing. Being creative is just letting yourself do what you love, freely. I am creative in art class, but also as a drama director, soccer goalie, dancer, and even in my kitchen job at work. I am creative every day.
