Building Blocks

Jackson R.

  • Building Blocks was written and directed by Jackson Rapp. It was developed over the course of nine months and shot in one day. This film was based on a real experience about a teenage boy who is torn between a few of his friends. His friends do not like each other and he is stuck in the middle feeling like he has to pick a side. It went through many different versions before landing on the current version of the film. It was shot with a small crew that all worked hard to make this idea come to life. This film was developed with the help of the SF Film Workshop.

  • To me creativity is the ability to bring an idea out of my head and put it in some form of media. For me, its movies that allow me to do this. For others it could be something like art or books. That's what creativity is to me.
