• Artist Statement

  This artpiece depicts the colorful details of the life that thrives under the rainforest canopies. By using watercolor and colored pencils, I was able to highlight each brilliant hue while while maintaining a natural feel. As I was searching for extraordinary species of plants to add, I was introduced to a whole new world of plant species, each with a trait unique from the others, even when not bursting in jarring colors
