My poem talks about a world tragedy. It talks about the airplane crash in DC. It is a sadistic poem drawing attention to the painfulness of this issue. I remember hearing about it in the news and I was absolutely heartbroken at this. I transferred my pain, thoughts, and words into this poem. I couldn't imagine what those families were going through. The thought of lives being cut short crushed me. I hope that my words can inspire others so we can help fix many of societies issues. I hope that I can lead the next generation into standing up for what they believe in.
