• Artist Statement

  This work was an attempt to explore my roots through a literary lens. I incorporated my father's birthplace: Saigon, Vietnam to give some familiarity and realism to a very bizarre and unreal scenario.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity means harnessing reality to create something that is both meaningful and engaging. It sends a message about or reflects our society or our world. Creativity is an amplifier for communication and expression.
