• Artist Statement

  This photograph captures an old drinking fountain, worn, dented, and stained by years of use. Although it’s an ordinary object, I chose it because it represents the unnoticed parts of everyday life that quietly support us. The fountain shows traces of countless people who relied on it for something as simple as a drink of water. By focusing on this overlooked fixture, I wanted to highlight how even the most simple things hold stories and history. This image invites the viewer to pause and appreciate the value in what is familiar, functional, and imperfect and through this piece, I hope to remind others to appreciate the little things that quietly support us.
