• Artist Statement

  While taking this photograph, I experienced the quiet dialogue between nature and movement. Between the stillness of the trees and the wind blowing through. Through the Echoes of Green in the leaves and the brown gradients in the bark. Focusing in that moment on catching the light, texture, and perspective of the forest, all in one capture. All in one shot, capturing as well a drive into the wild. Pausing and feeling the balance between solitude and connection. A connection with the path of giants. Creating a perfect connection between the wilderness and humanity. With trees signifying life, growth, and strength. I stood there thinking about all that in once multitasking through the art piece and life.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity in photography means to look at things and have a photographic perspective of the thing. A creative photograph includes photographer's a good vision, personal thoughts, and imagination.
