Fri “end” ship

Sylvia C.

Watercolor, color pencils, acrylic and tiny bit crayon

  • This piece is based on the airplane board game, but it’s really about friendship. The colorful path around the edges represents how relationships can feel random, like rolling a die—you never know who will stay by your side or suddenly turn on you. The skeleton and organs in the middle show the hurt and anxiety that hide under “fun” and friendly faces. Some figures on the board look distant or turned away, symbolizing fake, two-faced friends. The two girls holding hands are the small piece of truth in all the chaos: the rare, real friendship that doesn’t leave.

  • Creativity means that using my eyes to find the meaningful moments and giving them second chance to resonate my audience. It’s also a long journey to myself on my way to explore art.
