• Artist Statement

  My close-up photos of bees showcase their intricate details and delicate beauty. I used a zoom lens to capture the texture of their fuzzy bodies, transparent wings, and vibrant colors. I patiently observed the bees, waiting for moments when they were still enough for sharp, detailed shots, then zoomed in while standing far away. The blurred corners emphasize the bees in the center of the image, drawing the viewer’s eye to their complex anatomy. This artwork reflects my fascination with the important role bees play in the environment and my desire to highlight their often-overlooked elegance. I wanted to show the details of the beautiful, small creatures that have such a big influence on our world.

  To me, creativity in photography means capturing the world through a unique lens that might otherwise fade from our memory. It’s about turning everyday scenes into captured moments you can share with others. By using perspective and timing, photography can explore aspects of life that are otherwise overlooked.
