• Artist Statement

  This image captures a quiet conversation between fragility and strength. My friend holds a single flower that is small, easily overlooked, yet still reaching for light. To me, this moment reflects the tension between heaviness and hope; how we cradle delicate things when we’re unsure if they’ll survive the weight of an unforgiving world. The photograph isn’t just about the flower, but about the act of gentleness in a world that often feels unkind. It speaks to the need of protecting what is soft within ourselves, and displays visual hope that even the smallest things can progress positively.

  To me, creativity means freedom of expression. It is an outlet where I can express myself in abstract ways, displaying what I believe in. Creativity allows me to turn my venerable thoughts and emotions into something tangible. It is what empowers me to leave my stamp on our world.
