Hourglass is mainly inspired by electronic and dance music. When writing this song, we thought of the 60s funk sound, heard in the rhythm of the parts and the guitar, combined with today's pop aspects, like the choice of instruments and the overall structure of the song. The song was recorded in a single day, without trying to perfect every single small unnoticeable mistake that gives the song its life and energy. The greatest part about the process was that we quickly put together the ideas that kept flowing in our minds to create this song.
