in memory

Adalilly C.

  • In memory traces through my seventh grade year in Taiwan and my experience as a student. I wrote about the daily lives and the repetitive nature of schooling there, as well as the impacts it still leaves on me until now. That year gained me a whole new perspective, and also helped shape who I am today. This piece is dedicated to my family, the peers who went through this system with me, and my younger self.

  • Creativity to me means to look at the world with individuality, and to be able to write whatever is on the mind at the moment.
