This image captures a moment of intense focus during a water polo game. The image has a good contrast between the stillness of the ref, just waiting and watching for a call that needs to be made, and the movement of the player getting ready to pass the ball. I wanted to connect the athlete's determination with the calm observation of the sidelines. I wanted to capture more than just what happens in the game, but also how the sidelines and even the fans affect the game. This photo does that. It has the ref just out of focus in the foreground, observing the play, and the main subject (the player) focused on his next move, determining how to make his next play.

Creativity to me is how you choose to express yourself. No matter what or how you do it, what you create is a symbol of who you are, and creativity is a way for everyone to see who you truly are and what goes on inside your head and soul.
