In Thought of Stillness captures a quiet moment where emotion sits just beneath the surface. I photographed my friend in black and white to strip away distractions and focus on her expression, the subtle tension in her hand, and the calm weight of the moment. The contrast highlights the shape of her features while leaving space for the viewer to imagine what she might be thinking. My goal was to show how stillness can feel full, and how a simple pose can reveal something honest without saying a word.

Creativity, to me, is connection—first in the quiet moments of making momos with my grandma, and now through photography. My piece In Thought of Stillness reflects that same intention: capturing honesty, emotion, and the moments people usually overlook. Creativity matters most when it helps someone feel understood.
