• Artist Statement

  A collection of reflections on societal and individual thoughts and views, these poems divulge in aspects of humanity that are not often spoken aloud. Effects on our climates and effects our social climates have on us, to reflections of ourselves and the role we are taking as individuals in our lives. Society clings to hope and love but when distance pulls that away the challenges we face can feel an immense load heavier. I don't try to comfort the natural pains of life, but ensure no one bears the weight of trying to navigate this difficult world alone.

• Creative Statement

  The freedom to express the content of one's mind without limitation or restraint. It's being able to show what you are unable to express through talking and not being held by the captivity of the tenable world around us, it's raw emotion displayed in awe capturing vulnerability.
