Digital art, ibis Paint X

  • Art is a reflection of the artist. But, mine is not. The void of an individual is obscured by technique and grand ideas—invulnerable. When you know yourself more than anyone, you have everything to say and nothing to say. It’s being desperate to control an explosion until it shamefully stifles into nothing. Visual noise, then, becomes my truth. I cannot explain it; it’s blind, intense, and alive. Yet, there’s comfort in knowing that as I cover myself behind a stoic face that isn’t mine, I am still revealing myself. I am not the girl, but everything else.

  • I feel incredibly lucky to have discovered my passion for art. By creating, I can articulate emotions and struggles that I have yet to communicate out loud. There is a comfort in knowing that, with art, there is nothing that needs to be said.
