My model is Juana. I know her for only some months. Juana is a cool, calm and beautiful girl. When I took this portrait it was break time at school, she dressed her culture clothes. I took a lot of pictures like this. I used different angles so I can choose the best among them. The photo was already beautiful, I had to add a little edits to make the picture more interesting. First I opened Photoshop then I selected the subject and added a little contrast and brightness so the color on her clothes could pop out. After that I selected the background, then I darkened it. This is Guatemalan clothes it is their traditional clothes, they wear it everywhere even to their work or schools. At that time Juana came to take pictures with the clothes. I think she wants the world to see her tradition.
