Everyone’s space reflects their brain, and Julia’s is thoughtful and imaginative. Her decorations are filled with whimsy and magic, from colorful paintings to pictures of friends. A card that I wrote for her birthday years ago is hung above her bed. Her space represents who she is as a person; crafty and expressive. I took this photograph to tell Julia’s story through her environment.

Creativity is the story telling medium. It thrives under pressure and weakens in routine or order. Creativity is chaotic and unexpected, the best things are created when you have no expectations for them. Anything that one makes tells a story to the viewer that they must interpret on their own.
