My All

The first time I sang "My All," I was standing on tiptoes, clutching a mic much taller than me, in a living room buzzing with my Filipino family's laughter. The lights twinkled, voices overlapped, and I poured everything into those soaring notes, even when my small voice wobbled. Years later, I've returned to the song, but this time I was in control of the notes, every run, every flip. I added harmonies that twist and layer, taking me back to that chaotic warmth during those family gatherings, and I created runs that speak in my own voice rather than just trying to echo Mariah Carey. Singing it now, I can feel the little girl cheering from the corner and the artist I've become in every phrase. This performance isn't just a song to me, it's my growth, and invites everyone listening to step into my world to hear my story.

Creativity is leaping beyond comfort, allowing my voice to explore unfamiliar melodies and rhythms. It is shaping new harmonies, discovering textures I've never sung before, and weaving fragments of my passion into every note. Each phrase transforms into a chapter for my own story: exposed, unforgettable, and unmistakenly, my own.
