Taken on a trip to Lake Tahoe, this picture is a portrait of my good friend leaning against an incredibly tall tree. Originally, the idea was to get a picture that showed the very top of the tree but once I saw the framing of this one I felt like I captured the idea better. I particularly enjoyed the mystery of the actual height of the tree, and the thoughts of my friend. I can't remember how tall the tree was and I won't ever know what she might've been thinking about it and that is what makes the picture great. Beyond its meaning, and although there are only 2 subjects in the image, the color saturation and the smooth texture are very satisfying to observe.

To me, creativity means finding the beauty in uniqueness and observing the beautiful things in life that often go unnoticed. Creativity is a process of observation and creation, based on your unique experiences in life.
