This poem is a very personal poem. I made it on the school bus while listening to music. The bus is like my own space where I feel at peace and alone. I had thoughts about things my dad has told me a few weeks ago and things said when I went to school counseling. I wrote half of it on the bus and the rest of it in quiet spaces in my loud home. I used some elements from my grade 11 English teacher when he was teaching the class about poetry, and some elements of a book titled Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo. This relates to my recent lessons at my time in school counseling of my self healing.

There are many forms of expressing creativity. Creativity to me is expressing your true freedom of what you feel inside. That is why I use poetry as my main form of creativity. It truly expresses what I truly feel inside, even if I don't show it.
