This piece was made to challenge myself and my abilities with drawing people because of the interest I have in creating my own original characters that I often imagine in my head. This piece depicts a woman standing on the ocean floor with rocks and corals at her feet with jellyfish all around her. The rocks and corals were made using layers of paper to create more depth and add a 3D affect, while the background is made using color pencils and the jellyfish with oil pastels. The woman herself is made using markers, pen and color pencils.
