Music is a highly individual way of expression that connects people of different cultures across different times, building a collective experience for all. The great composers around the world transformed music by blending innovative ideas into a rich cultural melting pot. I am honored to explore this ever-evolving art form with my violin, from the timeless genius of Bach in the Baroque era, to Beethoven’s groundbreaking visions in the Classic period, to the cultural flair of Romantic composers like Sarasate, and finally to the bold fusions of minority voices such as Coleridge-Taylor and Esmail. Today, we have access to so much music from the past, but often lack the appreciation for great music. Standing on the shoulders of the music giants, how will we, as new musicians from a variety of backgrounds, leverage the powerful technology of today to contribute our own voice to this collective human experience?

Creativity doesn't come from nowhere. To me, it comes from years of learning and inspiration by other's work. Then, I synthesize this knowledge with my own personal experiences, culminating in original projects and artworks that are uniquely mine.
