• Artist Statement

  The Quiet Landing captures a delicate moment between a butterfly and branch. This brief meeting of delicacy and strength presents the subtle balance in nature all around us. The butterfly's wings which are light and translucent contrast against the rough texture of the bark, creating a sense of tranquility. This photo invites the audience to slow down and witness the quiet conversations happening all around us even midst the chaos of life. Through this photograph I hope to encourage a deeper appreciation for the small interactions in life around us, allowing us to see something small but become extraordinary.
