• Artist Statement

  I chose to silhouette a rabbit's head because rabbits are one of my favorite animals. Inside the rabbit I chose to put flowers using negative space. I did this because I wanted the rabbit to show more than the flowers. My artistic process while making the piece was first drawing out the rabbit head, then coloring in the rabbit around the flower. Finally I erased around the rabbit to make it look more bold.

• Creative Statement

  To me creativity is a way to express yourself through different mediums. For me, while drawing I like to see an idea that I have in my head unfold onto paper.
