Rainstorm is a piece of music written with one of Rock Band Lands' DIY or DIE bands, Thorn. This piece is one of our coolest yet! We worked a lot on how we could make it stand out amongst our other songs, and ended up with some really cool guitar techniques and polyrhythms that tied it together perfectly. Our vocalists' unique sound also gives this song a really punky, grunge feel, which embodies Thorn completely. The collaborative efforts of Thorn are really showcased well in this piece through the 3 drummers, 3 guitarists, and 2 bassists.

To me and my bandmates, creativity means freedom. Freedom to write what we want and make our own music, without influence from our parents or outside parties. I think being creative as a musician that writes original music means just being open and free with whatever you produce.
