I love working with pen & ink because of how intricate and detailed the designs can be. The medium allows me to articulate and modify every part of an art piece with precision, and its versatility is what draws me to it. For this artwork, I chose to create a piece based on the sea, something equally diverse, layered, and endlessly fascinating. "Seascape" resonates with me because drawing what I’m passionate about brings peace and sense of escape from reality. Like the ocean, art is full of stories, and emotions waiting to be discovered, and exploring that depth gives me comfort. With this piece, I hope to inspire a feeling of possibility and reflection in viewers, encouraging them to pause and look deeper. While many escape through entertainment or books, I find mine through drawing, especially during difficult moments. Art became my safe haven, and this reflects that personal escape and discovery.
