For my photography class assignment, we had to take black and white photos outside. I also happened to be going to San Francisco that day, so I brought my camera with me and took photos around the city, and I stumbled upon this simple yet symmetric building that intrigued me. I noticed that the shadow only covered half of the building, therefore I thought the photo would make great contrast, so I took a picture.

It means to me being able to express yourself and display your personality through art. For photography, it means I don't need to use words. I let the photo explain itself to my audience and maybe give them a perspective of how I see the world.
