This is the first dramatic script I have written. It is part of a larger play which centers on the life cycle of a train car—from construction to a crash to disrepair— to explore all the metaphors connected to locomotives. This scene, towards the end, follows the ghost of a crash, and wrestles with themes of moving on and reconciliation. I hope you enjoy it!

Creativity is a way to express what you can’t through talking. When I find a complex feeling, I turn to writing a song or a scene. My favorite moments are not when I make something cool, but when I can touch someone emotionally. Creativity is a boon to relation.
