• Artist Statement

  In a world shaped by conflict and snap judgments, this work redirects the viewer's attention to what truly matters: the earth and the younger generation. It urges today’s citizens and leaders to recenter and renew their focus on the potential of these two forces, forces that flow into and sustain one another throughout the piece. Looser strokes and translucent washes confront the painting’s more defined elements, creating an intentionally imperfect expression of the relationship between the most powerful sources of renewable energy, resilience, and hope our planet holds.
