• Artist Statement

  What happens when a daring space explorer faces an unexpected mishap and plummets straight into the sea? We never expect to find any stars in the ocean, but when a situation makes the two worlds combine, you may be met with confusion and unexpected beauty. In my work, I attempted to depict the chaotic charm of experiencing something completely new and unordinary. I tried to use bright colors, different textures, and unique combinations to create a piece that would express the excitement and fear I feel when I find myself somewhere out of the norm.

  Creativity is the ability to express and convey ideas, emotions, or beliefs. I believe that art comes from the heart. Every piece is filled with some sort of love or passion-- that is what makes it so special.
