Stay a While is not only a film, it is, in fact, based on a true story. It is truly a story about the compassion of humanity, and how one small interaction, on a park bench for example, can set off a chain reaction that can really transform a person for the better. When my colleagues and I first needed to make a film for our class, we were originally just going to do something quick and easy. But then one day at lunch, we noticed a person in our grade sitting alone. Shortly after, like clockwork, another person went up to them. They haven’t been sitting alone since. We were moved and touched by that small act of kindness, and we decided to make this film in honor of the fact that one small interaction can make a huge difference in the life of a human.
