My art piece was inspired by a lot of different things. I wanted it to be a reflection of how I’ve been feeling and something that I felt represented that was this tiktok trend to the song “David” by Lorde. Recently I’ve felt like everything has been changing in my life my world keeps turning and I’m just standing still. I often want it to stop, I don’t like change, but there’s nothing I can do about it. I also need to find things I do enjoy in life and I used to love art so much and then I stopped for whatever reason and forgot how much I enjoyed it. So this work was me trying to piece back myself and find things that will help me accept the change of life so that I don’t feel so still anymore.

I think that creativity is for everyone, people say they aren’t creative but it’s not true because being creative looks different for everyone. To me it’s mainly about expressing myself while also having fun. It lets me try new things as well as sticking to what I know and love.
