• Artist Statement

  While at an SF museum, this scene of two zebras instantly caught my attention. The realism was striking; though they are fake, at first glance, they don't seem that way in the slightest. Situations like this always make me pull out my camera—taking photos of things the way they are, with no set up or fabrication. There is a beauty in that: capturing subjects in their raw, untouched form and not how we might try to make them seem.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity means being in a state of comfort and confidence, a place where you can express yourself without hesitation. It stems directly from you as a person, and I believe that when you are at your most confident and comfortable, you are also at your most creative.
