My artwork is a perfect representation of my art style. I enjoy using pencil and without color. It evokes a greater sense of emotion for me, which I hope is felt through my piece. This was a piece where I was experimenting with one point perspective. I worked diligently to create a piece that captured this new skill I was practicing. I decided on a subway because there are many elements that connect to the singular point and subways, which are grungy and often times lacking beauty and calm, are perfect for a black and white color scheme evoking the lack of peace and cleanliness one may find in other places.
