• Artist Statement

  This work details the fast-moving cycles of modern trends. A Labubu is staring enviously through layers of windows in a magical landscape. The dream-like feel represents the life cycle of a trend. There is the intense, almost unreal attention directed towards a viral video or post, but that is followed by a nearly inevitable fade as something newer catches the public’s eye.
