I created this as a statement on the ideals of beauty and women. How women are watched to be beautiful all the time, poised, elegant, pure. I took inspiration from dystopian novels as well as propaganda posters. This was created at Carnegie Mellon's pre-college program, and turned into a model box.

Creativity means being allowed to express oneself; no matter how grotesque in the eyes of the public, or how much it makes others uncomfortable, it is something that you wanted to create. Creativity means taking your heart and bearing it towards all the world to see.
