• Artist Statement

  I put on a show for the world to see: childishly cheerful and bold under the spotlight. Inside, I am drained and weary from the misfitting personas I feel pressured to perform and the expectations that weigh me down. But the show must still go on, even when I feel exhausted and out of place. This painting reflects the contrast between the perfect facade I present and the internal distress that lies beneath it.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is the ability to turn the abstract mind into tangible inventions. It can be a gamble but oftentimes the only enemy of creativity is self-doubt. It requires discomfort but the result is art and innovation.
