• Artist Statement

  This is a low light capture of an antique copper oil holder with a vintage shell lamp in the background. I thought the warm orange quality of the light captured a coziness I feel in my home. The house was dark and the shell lamp was the only thing illuminating the room and I thought the way the light touched the things surrounding it would make a beautiful image.

• Creative Statement

  To me creativity is very important because it’s apart of my personality. Photography is one of my main ways of expressing my creativity. I find photography helps me look at everyday things from a different viewpoint.
